DEFENCE CLINICS
DEFENCE CLINIC /
DEPTH Hockey is introducing a weekly Defence Clinic designed to develop confident, composed, and impactful defencemen.

Our model is simple: Defend. Transition. Create.

Each session focuses on defence-specific skating and movement, puck retrievals, transition passing, offensive blue-line skills, and defending both off the rush and in-zone.
Purposeful drills will help players improve their decision-making, poise under pressure, and ability to impact the game in all three zones.

Led by DEPTH Hockey’s Lead Coaches Chase Campbell, Chris Playfair, and Nate Allensen, this program gives defencemen the habits, repetitions, and understanding needed to elevate their in-game performance while continuing to develop with their winter teams.
DEFENSIVE RELIABILITY MEETS OFFENSIVE THREAT.
Our Defence Clinic is designed to help players become the ultimate hybrid defenceman, strong in their own end and dangerous in the offensive zone.
Under the guidance of Coach Nate Allensen, you will refine essential defensive skills such as 1-on-1 technique, gap control, defenceman-specific skating, and crisp first pass transitions.
At the same time, you will elevate your offensive game by improving blueline creativity, making smart decisions in the offensive zone, and creating shooting lanes that lead to scoring opportunities.

With our 5:1 player-to-coach ratio, you will receive consistent, direct instruction every time you hit the ice.
